Bangladesh Floods
In Spring 2022, weeks of unprecedented rains caused devastating flooding in Bangladesh leaving more than 4 million people homeless. Rivers broke their banks and flooded out entire villages and towns.
Families were left without shelter, clean water or food. Mercy-USA for Aid and Development rushed to the affected area and provided relief including food aid and other emergency non-food item assistance. Displaced families were provided an emergency kit containing food, nutrition biscuits for babies, water purification tablets, hygiene products, first aid essentials, flash light, candles, and more.
